Tiny Bear

Adopted

Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue welcomed Tiny Bear in mid-August. Tiny Bear is a sweet and gentle guy that just wants to be loved. He spent 23 hours of everyday for the prior two years in a crate that was too small for him. At intake he had several bad teeth and a large mass on his tail that caused him pain. He began taking pain medication but was still uncomfortable. Prior to taking the pain medication he would cry out every time he would try to sit or lay down.

In late August Tiny Bear had surgery to have the mass on his tail removed,  thirteen teeth and a small skin tag by his eye. Pathology revealed the mass was not cancerous and caused by a blocked hair follicle. Sadly with in a week there were complications with Tiny Bears tail had to be amputated. If all goes well he will have his stitches removed in mid-September.

Applications are available  https://ddbrescue.org/adoption-application/

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email pam@ddbrescue.org

Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue is a foster based, all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit charity dedicated to rescuing neglected and abandoned Dogue de Bordeaux, rehabilitating and re-homing them into loving forever homes in the continental United States.
