Three-year-old Izzy joined us in mid-June; she and a dog friend were picked up as stays and taken to a shelter. Due to kennel space her and her dog friend’s time was limited. We were able to get Izzy safe but sadly her dog friend was humanly euthanized a day earlier.
Izzy is petite for the breed, she currently weighs 67 pounds, but her ideal weight is closer to 80 pounds. Izzy knows how to walk on a leash, sit, lay down, paw and rides beautifully in the car and is an excellent passenger on the boat. Izzy is completely house-trained. Izzy is dog friendly and may be placed in a home with children age five and over. She has some separation anxiety. She has a high prey drive and cannot live with cats or small animals.
All rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email info@ddbrescue.org
