New Arrival

This beautiful senior girl is Pixie. She is thin, has several lumps throughout her body, mostly on her lower chest and lower abdomen, ear infections and is weak to stand. Her teeth are in poor condition, and it is hard for her to eat or chew food.

The vet was concerned about a large mass on her stomach. An aspiration was done, and the results were inconclusive.

This is what we know-
Low red blood cell count (anemia)
Low albumin (protein) causes concern with cancer and chronic inflammation.
Elevated kidneys
Her back left leg/paw is swollen,edema
Both back legs are still very shaky.
Early stages of renal disease and
The test of mammory mass were inconclusive. She will have chest and abdomen x-rays taken to see if cancer, it has spread. Her age, other health issues and quality of life will also be considered.
