This good-looking couple is Ginger – 2 years old, and Rufus – 3 years old. They are a very bonded pair that will need to be adopted as a family. They depend on each other for just about everything.
Both are very well behaved and trained. They are good with other dogs, however, not in the same household. Due to their bond, Rufus has become jealous of Ginger’s relationship with the resident female in the foster home. They both love car rides and walk on leash together very well. They enjoy cuddles from their humans. They are in a foster home with miniature horses (about the same size as them) and a turtle. They have been along the fence line with them with no issues.
All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative, micro chipped and current on vaccinations before being placed.
We are accepting applications for adoption. If you would like to welcome Ginger and Rufus into your home, please complete an application at www.ddbrescue.org. If you are already an approved adopter (without an existing dog in your home), please send a message indicating your intention to apply for this pair.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email pam@ddbrescue.org
