Jake

New Arrival
Jake, another male Dogue de Bordeaux and other large breed dogs where held at animal control as part of a cruelty and neglect case from March of 2020 until March of 2024 when they were release to the humane society.  Yes, four years!  Only minor veterinary care, such as vaccinations and deworming where allowed in those four years he was held by the court. Jake is now six years old and weighs 110 pounds. Jake has hypothyroidism but is not symptomatic. Jake is very friendly and likes affection. Jake is fearful during storms.

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email pam@ddbrescue.org

Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue is a foster based, all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit charity dedicated to rescuing neglected and abandoned Dogue de Bordeaux, rehabilitating and re-homing them into loving forever homes in the continental United States.
