Rooster is a young, happy male that was found as a stray. We believe he is one years old. He had bilateral entropion and a ulcer in his right eye. He had drops and ointment for the eye ulcer and surgery for the entropion. He is heartworm negative. He weighs 89 pounds. Rooster has excellent house manners but needs more practice walking on a leash.
Rooster is a bit of a character, he likes to sit in places that are not meant to be sat on, like the reception counter at the vets office or a small table, the window sill or the kitchen counter.
Rooster does not like other dogs in his space, he is fine on a walk in public but does not want another dog in his house. Cats ae unknown. He can be placed in a home with children over six.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email pam@ddbrescue.org
