Ollie

New Arrival

We would like to introduce you to fourteen week old Ollie. Ollie has a congenital heart condition called sub-aortic stenosis, which is a narrowing of the aortic valve opening. This causes resistance to blood flow through the heart and the heart must work harder to compensate. Ollies case is severe and is expected to worsen over the first year of his life. He is currently on a daily medication that reduces how hard his heart is working, and exercise restriction is required to avoid potentially fatal heart arrhythmias.

Ollie has an appointment within a cardiologist in mid October. We will know more about his condition then.

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email pam@ddbrescue.org

Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue is a foster based, all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit charity dedicated to rescuing neglected and abandoned Dogue de Bordeaux, rehabilitating and re-homing them into loving forever homes in the continental United States.
