Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue welcomes Bruce!

When five year old Bruce arrived there was clearly something wrong and had been for sometime. He was bleeding and had a large open sore under his tail. He did not want to sit or lay down and was very uncomfortable. Bruce was immediately taken to an emergency clinic. We originally feared cancer but he was diagnosed with Periansl fistulas, a complex immune mediated disease. Bruce’s condition is improving with medication and he becomes more comfortable as the swelling goes down.

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application and reference/home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them.
