New Arrival

Semba intake notes stated his body condition score was 2/9, he had a distended stomach, discharge in both eyes, a dry nose, a small mass on left side of body, geriatric, had calluses, hind legs had trouble standing up. Weight of 106. Once seen by veterinarian he was diagnosed as geriatric, having degenerative joint disease,  dental disease, skin masses, entropion, and low thyroid. After one week he weighed 100 pounds and concern of respiratory disease put in isolation for 10 days. After at the shelter two weeks it is noted, he is fearful, fear/anxiety shelter setting. One week later we were notified he was there and on the euthanize list. He will begin his vetting now that he is in our care.

All  rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email info@ddbrescue.org
