DDB Rescue welcomed five year old Remi in April. He is as sweet as he is handsome!

Prior to coming to DDB Rescue Remi was attacked by a neighbors dog. Remi was traumatized and was reactive to new dogs thinking he needed to protect himself. He responded well to training and had a very slow introduction to his foster sisters. He now has confidence and realizes not every dog wants to hurt him. He is no longer reactive to other dogs he sees in public. Remi will need a slow intoduction to other dogs in the same home. He is an alpha and does some resource guarding.

Remi loves to fetch, swim and play in the water. Remi is fond of children and could live with children five or older. He is easy to bath and doesnt mind having his nails trimmed. He is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Remi received direction, love and kindess from his foster family and has blossomed into an amazing dog.

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email us info@ddbrescue.org
