Star

Medical Hold

Star and two other Dogue de Bordeaux lived outside. No dog house or kennel, just outside. She had never been on a leash, been taken for a car ride or cared for by a veterinarian. We believe she is one year old. Having only lived outdoors it was challenging to transition to living indoors and being part of a family. She has learned to walk on a leash and is crate and house trained. Star is dog friendly. We do not know how she is with cats or small children. Star has a grade five heart murmur and needs additional testing before she can have her spay surgery.

.

All rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email info@ddbrescue.org

Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue is a foster based, all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit charity dedicated to rescuing neglected and abandoned Dogue de Bordeaux, rehabilitating and re-homing them into loving forever homes in the continental United States.
