Update 9/15/2023 Rosie has found her forever family!
Rosie is a beautiful girl that is discovering people can be kind and what it is to be loved.
Rosie was taken to the shelter as a stray in March. Upon intake the shelter described her as fearful, unsocialized and shy. Once in our care she began to relax and started to play, she now chases squirrels, rolls around in the grass, enjoys good food, snuggles and enjoys everything a dog should enjoy. Rosie is dog friendly, and currently living with a male and female Dogue de Bordeaux. Rosie has blossomed while in our care and is becoming more confident each day.
We do not know how Rosie is with cats or children. Rosie is fully vetted and ready for her very own family. We believe Rosie is 3-4 years old. She is located in Kansas City, MO. Rosie currently weighs 65 pounds. With a proper diet we expect her to weigh 75 to 80 pounds.
Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue is a foster based, all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit charity dedicated to rescuing neglected and abandoned Dogue de Bordeaux, rehabilitating and re-homing them into loving forever homes in the continental United States.
