Finn

Meet Finn!

He is a 3 year old male DDB who weighs right around 100 lbs. Finn came into rescue when his owner had to sell her farmstead and move into an apartment. He lived with a small dog in that home but in foster care, he is very possessive over food and toys and would be best as an only dog. He does fine with the house cat but will chase away the neighborhood cats when he is out in the yard.

Finn is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He tested negative for heartworms but positive for a tick related infection called Ehrichia. While he does not show any symptoms, the vet is treating him with some antibiotics anyway. He is a healthy boy!

Finn is definitely a velcro and likes to be near his people at all times. He does great when home alone, and is not destructive but we have seen a little counter surfing when food is up there. He is calm in the house but gets the zoomies outside in the yard. He does not show signs of storm anxiety which is great!

Since Finn has not been around small kids, a home with kids ages 12 and up would be best. He likes kind children who are respectful and know how to act around dogs.

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application and reference/home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them.
