Bentley has been adopted by a Floridian family. He now has two dog siblings and four humans of his own.

Bonjour, je m’appelle Bentley et j’ai 2 ans. Je vis a Winter Haven, Florida.

Parlez-vous Francais?

Je ne parle pas bien Francais.

While I have an imposing appearance suggestive of health and strength and a wonderful personality, (I got that out of a book, the things you can find on the internet these days!) I thought I would better myself while I have been waiting for my forever family to find me by learning French. For those of you that do not speak French I said hello my name is Bentley. I am 2. I live in Winter Haven, Florida. I asked do you speak French? Then I said I do not speak French well.

My first family was too busy to have a dog, they were at work all the time and I would have to be in my crate for 14 hours a day. They were nice people, that took me swimming and we played ball. I was just sad because they were gone so much.

I am current on vaccinations, take a monthly heart worm preventative, heart worm negative and neutered. I’m house-trained but don’t like the crate because of my past.
I love to snuggle on the sofa and watch the telly with my foster mom…. I give her the best hugs and kisses.
I love to play with toys…Throw the ball and I will fetch it and bring it back to you it’s a great game that I love. I am so smart!
I get along great with cats matter of fact I sleep on the sofa with one of my foster cat brothers. I’m a little iffy on other dogs until I get to warm up to them then I’m ok.
Please no small children they make me really anxious. And in French, Je suis inquiet des enfants.
Au revoir
In English that means goodbye.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application and reference/home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email
