We have sad news, Minnie has passed away.
Minnie had been sitting in a shelter for almost 2 months before anyone from DDB Rescue knew she was there. They had her listed as a mixed breed – that was it. Once one of our volunteers saw her post cross through their FB page they immediately reached out to the shelter and Minnie came into rescue. We knew she needed a medical foster home as she was not doing well, she was losing the ability to walk and had lost weight. An amazing volunteer took her in and gave her love, a warm bed, good food, and lots of grass and sunshine to make her feel better. Minnie in turn gave kisses. She let the foster know it was her time to go. She was only with rescue a couple of weeks. Minnie was very loved in the short time with us and is missed.
