Adopted

- LOCATION: Washington
Poppy was found as a stray and was at risk of being euthanized due to shelter space. We took Poppy into our care in late February, she was very thin weighing just sixty-five pounds and had kennel cough. She was very timid and did not trust people. Poppy is slowly being introduced to the other dog in her foster home. Poppy is crate trained.
Poppy was seen by the vet in late May, she had a yeast infection on her spay incision. Poppy current health issues, her front paws are swollen and has a Melanoma on her front leg that needs to be removed. She also has several large tumors on her mammary glands that need to be removed. Her surgery is being scheduled. Poppy currently weighs 80 pounds.
Poppy will be adopted by her foster family once her veterinary care is completed.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email us info@ddbrescue.org
