Henry

Is a 1-2 year old neutered male who is just a sweet little boy that is very curious and eager to learn new things!  While in foster care, Henry has been working hard on learning how to be a member of a family.  He loves attention from his people, but is working on trusting new people.  Henry is a mellow mannered guy but he’s also goofy & loves to play!  If you feel your leg getting a head butt…it’s Henry giving you his nudge to get up and play 😀.   Since he has been recovering from heartworm, he hasn’t had the opportunity to meet many new people or new animals, so Henry will work on that as soon as he’s cleared by the vet.  He walks great on a leash and doesn’t seem bothered by kids, strangers, or other pets out on walks.  He loves his morning naps, and when it’s bedtime he’ll come snuggle for a short while in your bed until he gets down to sprawl out on his own bed.  Henry is crate trained and does well in his crate when his humans are gone at work.  His favorite treat is jerky sticks, and anything the humans let him have off their plates.  His favorite toy is his giggle ball, which has taught him to be quite the soccer player!  He’s not much of a bone chewer, and has never really chewed on anything he’s not supposed to.

Henry is a loving, cuddly, gentle mini giant who will be so grateful to find his furever home.
