They say everything is bigger in Texas, well Clifford, The Big Red Dog sure is!
Clifford is a one-year-old that was found as a stray in an area of Southern Texas that has more dogs than they can help, very limited space and little resources. Once a dog’s stray hold has expired, they are at risk of being euthanized for cage space. Clifford was also heart worm positive making him unadoptable and more at risk. Luckily Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue was able to send him north to a foster home. Once Clifford finishes his heartworm treatment in late September he will be adopted by his foster family.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email info@ddbrescue.org
Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue is a foster based, all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit charity dedicated to rescuing neglected and abandoned Dogue de Bordeaux, rehabilitating and re-homing them into loving forever homes in the continental United States and parts of Canada.
