This handsome boy is Astro, a five year old neutered male. When he arrived at his foster home in late May he was not housetrained or leash trained as he had lived outdoors. He was shy and very reserved. Well, things have changed greatly and he is having fun, blossomed into a very happy fellow.

He is no longer shy, loves to cuddle and gets the zoomies outside playing with his foster mom. Loves butt scratches, squeaky toys, playing in his pool and carries a toy when outside helping with chores.
Astro is doing well on a leash with a harness. A collar doesn’t work as his neck is bigger than his head and he does have a big loveable head with lots of wrinkles. Housetraining is coming along well with supervision, going outdoors to potty when with lots of praise.
His foster family has discovered that Astro is leery of men with beards. Older children are okay. No cats as he loves to chase them. He may do best in a home where is primary person is female.
He has done well with his foster family’s female English Mastiff. Has done well when on leash around other bigger dogs.
