Elwood, another male Dogue de Bordeaux (Chaos, also adoptable) and other large breed dogs where held at animal control as part of a cruelty and neglect case from March of 2020 to March of 2024 when they were released to the humane society. Yes, four years! Only minor veterinary care, such as vaccinations and deworming where allowed in those four years . Chaos is now eight years old and weighs 96 pounds. Chaos has hypothyroidism but is not symptomatic. Elwood is dog friendly. Cats and children are unknown.

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application, vet reference and a home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional information please email pam@ddbrescue.org
