Reggie in FL

Reggie and another dog were surrendered to a high kill shelter in Florida because their owner was moving. The shelter was completely full and Reggie was scheduled to be put to sleep. Thankfully, DDBR was able to immediately get him into our rescue program and get him safe, out of the shelter and into a foster home. Reggie came into rescue emaciated,  weighing 58 pounds and should weigh 100 pounds or more. Even in this condition he is a very happy boy, his tail as not stopped wagging since his foster mom picked him up from the shelter. Reggie has started his vetting and thankfully, is not in organ failure, just emaciated. We will post more about him once we know more about him.

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application and reference/home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional info on any of the dogs in this region, please email Laurie at
