Rascal in IL

Rascal is located in DeKalb IL

4/6/17 Update- Rascal is becoming more comfortable in his foster home and has become friends with a male DDB. Rascal has shown signs of wanting to play with people but does not trust quite enough yet. Rascal has started his heart-worm treatment and will be adoptable later this summer.

Rascal is a 5 year old male Dogue de Bordeaux that was surrendered from a breeder in a southern state to DDB Rescue, Rascal and two other male dogs had lived in a barn for the last two years. They received no love, no medical attention and were only feed when someone remembered.
Rascal has a long physical recovery ahead of him, he has a heart murmur, is heartworm positive and has hookworms. Rascal is afraid of people, he wants to trust but just cant. Rascal begins his heart worm treatment in a few days and should be ready for adoption in the late summer.
