In 2019 Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue, Inc. assisted 81 Dogue de Bordeaux from shelters and owner surrenders. Veterinarian costs of $45,600 were partially offset with $11,500 in adoption fees. Social media fundraising efforts were expanded to support the high cost of veterinary care that included orthopedic surgeries, organ failure chiropractic care and hydrotherapy.
Several of the Dogues taken in were seniors or had serious health conditions that made them unadoptable. The veterinary costs for the 14 seniors and serious ill Dogues exceeded $10,000. There were also several donations of food and supplies donated directly to the foster homes of these dogs.
Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue, Inc. received nearly $52,000 in donation. An additional $10,500 in donations was paid to the veterinary offices directly.

Long time president Kristine Munday had decided in late 2017 to reduce her workload but stay involved with Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue, Inc as a Vice President of the Western Region. Pamela Cortese who was the Vice President of the Central Region became the president. Due to the change in leadership the original corporation in Oregon was dissolved and a new corporation was started in Minnesota. The new corporation was given 501c3 tax status,
The 2019 board of directors were Pamela Cortese, President, Kristine Munday, Vice President Western Region, Marie DeRosa, Vice President Eastern Region, Laurie Castleberry, Vice President Southern Region and Kim Whitemore, Treasurer. The board of directors is supported by Kate Morrill, Northeast Shelter Intake, Sandy Javor, Southeast Region, Paige Santell, Southwest and Pat Bloome, Ontario, Canada
We currently have approximately 150 volunteers with 30 possible foster homes. Additional foster home volunteers are needed.
