One year old Juna found her way to the shelter as a stray.   She is very thin, weighing 54 pounds with her backbone,  ribs and hips  showing. Juna was  terrified at the shelter. She would plaster herself against the kennel wall and coward down.  Juna is still terrified in her foster home but is slowly learning to trust her foster parents. She has made friends with the other dogs in her foster home. We are consulting with a behaviorist with the hope of her being comfortable enough to be petted some day. Currently Juna is not adoptable.

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application and reference/home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional info on any of the dogs in this region, please email Laurie ddbrsoutheast@gmail.com
