Jada had surgery yesterday to remove the large cyst on her leg.
Update 10/25/19 We have had to delay Jada’s surgery twice due to other health issues. She has had some improvement with her lungs and will be on a liver supplement for another month and then we will reevaluate. The cyst on her leg has continued to grow and she now walks with a limp.
8/31/19 Jada was living in the garage of a vacant house which is not good for any dog but especially an eleven year old senior with health issues. There was a nine year old male Dogue de Bordeaux living with her but he passed away two weeks ago.
We had her at the vet for an initial exam and she is heart worm negative and her heart is strong. Jada has a large cyst on her back leg and some breathing problems. Next we will have x-rays of her chest done and if she is healthy enough she will have the cyst removed. The cyst is large and gives her discomfort and affects her walking.
Jada is extremely sweet. She was raised with children and is good with other dogs. She has not been exposed to cats.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped before being placed. Completed application and reference/home check required. We do NOT ship or fly rescues as it’s too stressful on them. For additional info on any of the dogs in this region, please email Pam@ddbrescue.org
