Cowboy is a young male located in Murrieta California. He is probably around 1.5 to 2 years old. He came into DDB Rescue after being rescued off the streets in an area known as a dumping ground for abandon dogs. It was pretty apparent that he had been homeless for quite a while as he weighed in at under 70 pounds (should be 120 at least). Cowboy not only has bilateral deep inner ear infections, but a ruptured ear drum, a thru and thru wounds on his ears (wholes in the ear flap!) as well as being loaded with fleas and ticks. The good Samaritan who found him started his vetting and we are continuing it. When he was initially rescued he had what appeared to be a blockage of garbage and chicken bones that has since passed. His blood work looks ok and he is already neutered. Once Cowboy is recovered, he will be available for adoption. We will post more about him as we continue his vetting and learn more about him.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. We do not ship/fly rescues as it’s much too stressful on them (you must be within a reasonable driving distance).
If you are interested in any of our rescues, please complete our adoption application, it can be completed on line. Further information and questions, please contact us at Kris Munday
