Brewster in CA

Uodate: Sadly, we lost Brewster. His foster parents and all of us at DDBR are crushed. Dogs like Brewster are one of the many reasons we do rescue.

Brewster came into DDBR from a shelter near Sacramento. He had been found wondering. He was between 60-65 pounds, bald from demodex and has secondary skin infections. Thankfully, he is heartworm negative. He is now up to 77 pounds and is doing fantastic in his foster home. His foster mom said he already figured out the doggy door and seems to be house trained. He has good manners on leash and it appears that at one point, he was loved. It’s going to be a very long road to recovery for Bruce. We have started a fund raiser for him to help cover expenses. He starts his vetting shortly.
